If the OnDemand Host is going to run on a Windows computer with UAC enabled, it is important that after the user downloads the configured OnDemand Host that that user locate the download and right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator". This prevents a loss of control for the Netop GuestEx should a UAC alert be triggered during the remote control session.
UAC alerts, by design, must be clicked on by the user at the Host computer. It is not possible for the GuestEx to interact with the Windows UAC dialog boxes that occur on the computer where the OnDemand Host is running. If the user chooses the "Run as Administrator" option then when a UAC alert does occur and the user acknowledges this alert, remote control resumes for the GuestEx.
