Version 13.05 of Netop is now available.

These modification notes contain information relating to the minor release of Netop version 13.05.

Important Update: Impero Connect is Now Netop
We're excited to share that Impero Connect applications and portal are being rebranded to Netop as part of our continued commitment to clarity, consistency, and innovation in remote access and support.
What's changing?

• All Impero Connect branded applications will now appear as Netop across the product interface, installer packages, documentation, and support materials. The Impero Connect Portal (https://connect.backdrop.cloud) will become Netop Portal (https://portal.netop.com)
• This is a brand identity change only — your current functionality and support experience will remain uninterrupted.

Why the change?
This rebranding reflects our alignment with the trusted Netop brand, known for its secure and efficient remote access solutions, and is part of our long-term vision to streamline product offerings under a single, recognizable name.
What you need to do:
Nothing! The change will roll out automatically, and no action is required from your side.

• Now on AWS & Azure Marketplace

You can now purchase and deploy Netop directly from the AWS Marketplace or from the Azure Marketplace – faster setup, simplified billing.

• macOS Guest & Host Updates

Our rebranded macOS apps are here! Fully compatible with the latest macOS versions and packed with improvements.

• Smoother Experience: We’ve made UI tweaks and fixed bugs to keep things running seamlessly
• Security Improvement: enhancements to how system files are handled on the Host machine to further protect user information.
• Mass Activation & Deactivation for Intel vPro Devices in the Netop Portal
Managing large fleets just got easier. You can now mass activate or deactivate Intel vPRO devices in a single action — saving time and boosting operational efficiency.
• Enhanced vPro Details View
We’ve improved the Settings & Hardware Info in the Netop Portal section by adding richer, more detailed information. This update gives you better visibility into system configuration, provisioning states, power capabilities, and hardware specifics.

• Login Token Security Enhancement. The login token has been moved from the URL, improving authentication security and preventing token exposure via browser history or logs.
• Account Naming Restrictions. Account names are now restricted to alphanumeric characters only, ensuring consistency and preventing issues with special characters.
• Improved Account Selection UI. Users associated with multiple accounts in the Netop Portal will now see a modal-based dropdown selector, making it easier to switch and manage accounts within the interface.
• EULA Update: by clicking "install now," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of the end user license agreement (eula) available at www.ativion.com/legal/eula, as updated from time to time. if you do not agree to the terms of the EULA, do not install or use this software.
