Version 13.06 of Netop is now available

These modification notes contain information relating to the minor release of Netop version 13.06.

Bug Fixes


• Screen Scale Issue

Resolved a problem that caused incorrect screen scaling in certain display configurations - high-resolution (4k) displays.

• macOS Versioning Correction

Fixed an issue where macOS Guest and Host applications displayed incorrect versioning in the info.plist file.

• Encryption Selection Issue

Corrected an issue where connections did not apply encryption even when “Very High” encryption level was selected. This occurred only if the default encryption setting was never modified after installation. The connection now consistently applies the correct encryption level as configured in Connection Properties.

• Windows 7 x64 Connectivity Fix

Fixed an issue where the Connection Server component could fail to start correctly on Windows 7 x64 systems, resulting in an error during initialization.

The issue was caused by an internal utility component not executing as expected. The startup process has been corrected, and all connection services now initialize successfully.

• macOS Host Termination Issue

Fixed a problem that prevented the Netop Host on macOS from stopping correctly.

• Portal Communication Profile Connection Fix

Fixed an issue where establishing a connection using the Portal Communication Profile could fail if the associated certificate was not trusted by the system.

The connection process now correctly handles certificate validation and no longer fails under these conditions.

This fix ensures reliable connection establishment from both the Portal and the Guest application, even when the host system uses custom or untrusted certificates.

Enhancements


• Windows MSI Installer Defaults

The Windows installer now disables the Smart Card Driver option by default to simplify setup and minimize unnecessary components.

• vPro Installation Option

Added an option in the installer allowing users to select vPro installation when deploying in on-premises environments.

• vPro Netop Redesign

The vPro interface has been redesigned for a more intuitive and modern user experience.

This is a minor release and does not require a license key.
