About Confirm Access

In Netop Host, use of the setting "Confirm Access - except when Guest user logged on" requires the the Host's Guest Access privileges be set one of two ways.

The Guest Access Method must be set to "Grant each Guest individual access privileges using Windows Security Management."

or

The Guest Access Method must be set to "Use Netop Security Server" and that Security Server's preferred Guest type must be set to "Guests enter Windows username and password."

When this criteria is met, if the Guest user enters his or her Windows credentials to authenticate to a Host and that Guest's Windows account is already logged into Windows on the Host at that time then that Guest user will not need to wait for the user at the Host to confirm access.

This functionality is not supported when using Directory Service for authentication in either the Host or Security Server. It is only supported when using Windows authentication.
