Workaround for Host Crash on Dell Latitude Laptops

Modified on Sun, 14 Sep at 2:27 PM

If your Host computer immediately crashes (BSOD) upon connection from a Guest, chances are your Host is running on a Dell Latitude computer.  Some Dell Latitude notebooks were shipped with faulty audio drivers. The faulty driver may not reveal itself until you try to use Netop Connect.

The solution is to check the Dell website for an update to your Dell Latitude's audio driver. Installing the updated driver should alleviate the problem.
